Water

Harmonious living

Life was born in water and in cycles perpetuates the livelihood of the life it created.

The first living organisms were from the family of cyanobacteria, photosynthetic single cell beings who are responsible for the atmosphere we know today. In the water was born a cascade of connectivity.
In the modern days the water is still a big part of us (45 – 75 % of our bodies) but we still choose to not learn from it. So,  D r u i d a’ s water is harmonious living because we can not live or prosper without it. The twist is that our harmonious living is shaped in water.
It can be peaceful, it can be stormy but the important thing to remember is its cycle (water cycle) that keeps us and nature alive, just like balanced living minding dynamic cycles and always moving forward ( water only flows in one direction: forward ). Water generates life where there’s none, it’s a constructive element that for us, knows it all. Harmonious living doesn’t destroy, only takes what is essential to nourish life and the living in a dynamical exchange with external factors.

Earth enabled life to prosper, as so it left room for human complex thinking and intrinsic interrelation to form.

Within one of our societies great constructs (socio – economical system) we see circular economy as a way to heal a flawed system driven by capitalism using consumerism as a reaching arm that holds on into people’s living pulling upwards the cascade of profits and production usually centralized on large-scale companies.

In  D r u i d a  we incorporate circular economy as our earth, since we’re aware of the socio-economic system we belong to but use it in the most sustainable way possible to pay off our existential debt with the planet. In an attempt to share, reuse, repair and recycle materials or manufactured goods. In addition to making an effort to distribute the wealth and production through individual producers/owners who rightfully deserve their work to be valued. Minding as well the social pressure we put on the economical part of the system by choosing this kind of options.

Meaningful art

Meaning is like the wind, we only feel it once it touches us.

It’s enjoyable to think that everything is mutable, much so the meaning we attribute to things. We chose wind to resemble the meaning in our art, for each message that we exchange with you there’s a blow of slight breeze, that if you choose to let in, it can inundate your mind and body with a harmonious feeling of connectivity with the world around us. But make no mistake, wind (meaning) has great power, it can become a tornado that shifts entire landscapes of thought.
We want our pieces to be constant reminders of the nature that was in the origin of it, as well as what each represents, in that connectivity we hope that people have nature in mind while in their mundane lives, making thoughtful choices and/or searches.

May we all feel the wind of change

Fire is alive. It consumes and breathes to keep living. It transforms.

Fire teaches us that destruction isn’t bad when used well, that with greater power comes greater responsibility and with superior light comes bigger threats, all of this means that through transformation we’re equipped to face those challenges. Leaving what burned as our construction base and keep combusting on new knowledge. Our project has sustainable and natural materials in its origin, like wood, metals, and rocks, all representing different natural formations and heritage. The fun part is that us and all the apparatus  gets transformed in the way. We hope even, to transform a wider spectrum like people’s lives and their interaction with the environment. Combusting with creativity we transform nature into messages that can be carried with people.

Our fire is what gives us determination, it’s our raw core and essence. D r u i d a’s  fire is transformation.
